Green Christmas Tip: Reuse Christmas Wrapping Paper

Did you know know 4,000,000 tons of gift wrapping and shopping bags are used and thrown away each Christmas season? That’s a lot of paper! Don’t fret though, there are many ways you can cut down on your paper trash this holiday season from bringing a reusable shopping bag when doing your holiday shopping to saving and reusing Christmas wrapping for next season. A lot of Christmas wrapping items can be saved and reused such as bows and bags. You can even make your own wrapping paper for Christmas with things such as your old newspaper, magazines, posters, or maps. Get creative and have fun with it!
