get a lundry hamper, fill it with clothes, pick up trash… it doesn’t matter as long as u have some kind of order that you can do it in so you don’t have to worry about getting offtrack.
Get rid of all your old stuff you’ve outgrown – tell your mom to toss it or give it to charity.
Put your clothes hamper in the bottom of your closet.
Get crates and cool boxes to keep your other stuff organized with. Maybe your mom will take you to Ikea to look for something not that expensive.
get off the computer and get to work lol
Love your question! I’m an organizational junky ….let me see if I can help.
1. De-clutter. Less is truly more. If you haven’t worn it or used in 6 months – say bye, bye. Do you really need all of those old magazines, books or photos displayed? If not, put them in a box and get them out of sight…or better yet donated them to charity.
2. Re-arrange your furniture. Sounds crazy but a fresh prospective of your room will give you much better ideas and encourage motivation.
3. Use that closet! I actually don’t like dressers much, so I store virtually everything in my closets. Very much a cleanier more chic look. Don’t forget to donate any clothes you don’t wear or like any more. Think of it as adding square footage
.
4. With the closet think up. Consider moving your clothes rod higher to allow more space to organize underneath. Or, Target has these great rods that double your closet space – I live by these! They hang on your top rod and then have a place below it to hang shorter stuff – like skirts, pants etc. You’ll be amazed at the space! The rod hanger thing is cheap and crazy efficient.
5. In your closet organize your clothes by colors. On the left should be whites, then off-whites, then yellows… work your way right with darker colors. This will save you tons of time when you are getting ready and hanging stuff back up. Plus it encourages organization and looks really mature and put together…like a store would have it.
6. Another great tip is take your dirty clothes straight to the laundry hamper down the hall – get it out of your room. Saves tons of space and it’s an easy trick to making things look cleanier.
Have fun and really embrase the new changes. You’ll love the feeling of having control and making your room look like a magazine cover….and for cheap too
.
Right, im 11 and a Girl and i know how you feel. Just BecausB we are girls our rooms get messy to lol :L
Anyway, Buy some desk tidy and put all your homework, random paper etc into thwe so get bout 4 or 5. and put them some where tidy. they are real cheap too.)
Get a washing basket and stick any dirty clothes in there, then take it down before school starts or after school finishs.
Buy some little things to put on them e.g; Car or pictures or whatever you are into.
on your bed stick a blanket over it before you go to school then your bed remains tidy until you come home because nobody can see it!
