All natural homemade ink remover to take ink from a gel pen off my wooden computer desk?

Posted April 23, 2010 – 8:44 am in: Green Cleaning Tips

The other day, I was cleaning and sprayed Pledge and polished up my desk to give it a really good shiny once-over and got it looking all spic and span and a few days ago, I was working on a project and got tiny marks from the gel-type ink pen I was using on my desk. (I have one of those old-fashioned pen holders like you’d see on an executive’s desk, but I was so wrapped up in my project that it left several noticeable marks on my desk’s surface and on my mouse.)

I thought I might be about to get these off by moistening the tip of my fingers, but the ink is now dried on and it is annoying me to no end.

Does anyone have any sort of Green or homemade suggestions I could try?

Thanks.

might be too old by now but try milk.
put some milk on the stain, rub gently with finger and soak up with paper towel. repeat until gone.
