My fish tank keeps on turning green, even after cleaning it within 2 days? i have cleaned it twice in 1 week?

    i would try getting a new filter, or cleaning out the one you have right now

    Too much food.
    Put an outside filter on it.

    get a pleco if you have a heater. Is it in front of a window if so move it the sun will make algae grow.Get new filter cartridge.

    Green water usually cures itself. It’s not hard on the fish, but does affect live plants if you have them. There are lots of “cures” out there, nearly all based on the fact that green water goes away by itself in a few week once it uses up the nutrients it needs and once its microscopic nemesis, the rotifer, gets established in the filter media.

    If you have to eliminate it right away from a display tank, a properly sized and installed UV sterilizer is the only real cure. Vortex diatom filters will do nearly as good a job, but it will often take several applications of this water polishing appliance since it removes 99% of the single cell algae causing the problem, not 100%..

    i would have to ask what size is your tank if you have a 10 gallon you can get a rubber lip pleco
